A certificate proving that one cubic metre of water was durably saved, reused or restored in a named basin, in a given year.

What does the code mean?

WRC · NRW · WEC · P reads Family, Project type, NEXUS® impacts, Level.

What does “Level” mean?

The assurance class of the evidence behind each cubic metre. It is never a sum of impacts.

04Verification and integrity

Who verifies?

An independent body accredited under ISO/IEC 17029. Veracity never verifies.

What does the AI do?

It checks every data point and prepares the evidence. A human verifier signs.

Can a cubic metre be claimed twice?

No. It is issued once and retired once, for one claim.

05Projects and eligibility

Projects and eligibility

Which projects qualify?

Measurable projects beyond business as usual and legal duty. See the protocols.

Does leak detection alone qualify?

No. Detection, repair and a verified measurement after repair are required.

Can I get corporate funding?

Often, yes. Check your project's eligibility on the funding page.

06Buyers, claims and fees

Buyers, claims and fees

Is a WRC a CSRD compliance instrument?

No. It is verified evidence that supports ESRS E3 disclosure and defends a voluntary claim.

How are fees set?

Flat fees, never a share of volume.

Is an Impact Case a certificate?

No. It is an assessment report; certification is separate.
